Terms and Conditions We will consider that you’ve already read and accepted the Terms and Conditions when you have the receipt of your deposit or final payment. The Terms and Conditions attached is extremely important that our members and clients would deeply understand and accept as well as all the the contents shown on our website. We have the Terms and Conditions divided into 10 portions and ask for our members and clients to read it carefully. 1. Payment Deposit : A deposit of your tour which is equal to 20% of the total tour cost is required when you set your booking 60 days before departure for China. Final payment: The full of final payment is required to be paid 30 days before departure for China. If should the tour was booked within 30days before departure for China, the total payment would be asked to be paid without deposit request. Methods of your payment: We are now able to offer 5 methods of Payment as below: 1/Visa or Master Card with secure online payment via Paypal. Disclaimer of Difference Caused by Exchange Rate 1/As the Exchange Rate between Chinese Renminbi and the US Dollar are keeping changing during the period, we guarantee that your payment will be only settled on the basis of our original USD quotation for your convenience if your tours have been fully paid at the time of the revaluation occurs. 2. For the customers who have not paid the tour cost in total at the time of any revaluation will be required to pay the difference between the original and the new USD price. Disclaimer of Difference Caused by Service Charge from bank or credit card company Please note that for the clients who make payment by credit card or pay by wire, the service charge over your tour cost amount will be paid by your side. 2. Cancellation Refunds For the valid reasons that should our clients make decision to cancel the tour, we would not refund any payment with 14days when we have your written cancellation request. The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows: 1. Cancellation received more than 35 days before departure: 10 % of tour price, but may be applied for your next trip within 18 months. 2. Cancellation received from 21 to 35 days before departure: 10% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. 3. Cancellation received from 7 to 20 days before departure: 20% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. 4. Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. 5. Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours. Special Notes For Yangtze River Cruise: The payment for the Yangtze River Cruise can not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received less than 35 days prior to the date of the cruise. 3. Alteration of Itinerary Any alteration to your itinerary before the booking is welcomed and we may confirm the final itinerary with you 14 days before your departure for China. Each alteration happened within 14days will arouse an operation fee with $20.00 per request. We will meet our customers for every alteration, but all expenses aroused for the reason of alteration will be charged by us for the payment to the lost of the booking providers such as cruise operators, airlines and hotels etc. 4. Travel Documentation Tourgramchina will assist our customer to fulfill in the possession of a valid passport and valid visas or required permits at the begin of tour. Your travel advisor may forwardly assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon the regular request. Tourgramchina is not responsible for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation. 5. Health Requirements Clients should be asked for paying attention to take into account all international travel risks and recognize themselves with health requirements applicable to the regions and areas they intend to go. The client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people. 6. Luggage Allowance In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft. 7. Insurance Tourgramchina tour packages include China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance up to a maximum of $29,000 provided free of charge as part of our package. For the professional operation experience, we highly recommend you to purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin. 8. Complaints and Claims Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service Tourgramchina has provided, you would inform us before your exit for home, and your travel advisor would assist you to solve the problems accrued as soon as possible and avoid the same situation happen again to other clients. In the event of a complaint, you must inform us by email or facsimile or even regular mail within 15days from the end of your tour, so that we may ask the relative departments to answer your request and even pay you the refund accordingly with high efficient operation. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Tourgramchina will not be responsible for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour. 9. Liability & Responsibility Tourgramchina shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in total, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond Tourgramchina’s control. Neither Tourgramchina nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. Tourgramchina shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Tourgramchina. Tourgramchina is not responsible for a client’s failure to comply with customs regulations. Tourgramchina is not responsible for the theft or lost of any customer’s valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer. Tourgramchina reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If Tourgramchina has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, Tourgramchina is liable for a full refund of the money received by Tourgramchina. Many of Tourgramchina tour packages include activities which require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Tourgramchina, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
